Final Thoughts

In closing, a couple of comments regarding some of the circumstances and pastors that have contributed and have had an effect on my understanding of the position and status of the Christian. As a Christian for over 40 years, the last 20 or so as a re-dedicated Christian, I have taken many notes, accumulated various Christian materials, attended many seminars, listened to many radio ministries, and attended many Bible studies all just to say there have been many people who have contributed to my Christian development. First and foremost I believe is the Holy Spirit. Influencing pastors are John MacArthur, Charles Stanley, Chuck Smith, Jeff Johnson, and many other Calvary Chapel pastors.

Many items included in this information are by John MacArthur. I realize there are some people who take issue with some of his positions, however, there is always someone to take issue with something another says or position they take. I have always appreciated the Christian foundational materials his ministry has made available and appreciate the topics and insightful perspectives he puts forth.

This information is as I understand the Christian life. It is my personal view and there may be items someone may take issue with however, my intent is solely to provide this information, all in one place, so anyone who finds interest in any of the items has plenty of information and Scripture to follow through with further research to satisfy their own desire for biblical knowledge and understanding.

May one important aspect of how we look at those unsaved or new to the faith around us be to remember ‘where God has brought us from.’ Christians know, looking at the apostle Paul (and ourselves), of God’s miraculous transforming power. Some transformations are more drastic than others yet we don’t know what stage someone may be in re: God working in their lives and directing their path to His will for them.
